MYSIA. Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophorus (Silver, 28 mm, 12.63 g, 12 h), circa 160-150. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡΓ; to right, grain ear. Kleiner & Noe Series 14. SNG Paris 1702. Well struck on a broad flan and with attractive even dark toning. Very light marks, otherwise, about extremely fine.
